Safe and Sound

"I remember tears streaming down your face When I said, I'll never let you go When all those shadows almost killed your light. I remember you said, Don't leave me here alone. But all that's dead and gone and passed tonight. Just close your eyes The sun is going down You'll be alright No one can hurt you now Come morning light You and I'll be safe and sound"

TIRED!!!!!!!

I haven't slept in my own bed for 4 nights now. And, I'm tired. Two nights ago, there was a sleepover for youth group. In the morning, at 6:45 (Thanks, Joe...) on a saturday, we headed to the boston common to serve breakfast and give socks to the homeless. Some of the people are kinda greedy. I was on Pasta duty and one guy got at least 6 bowls and was selling them across the street. Others said "Oh, no, thats too much." and wanted less. Oh well! I guess thats just the way the world works.
On another note, last night, I had a sleepover with the Girl Scouts. We stayed up until 4:30 am. Do you know how tired I am right now? Very. And we had to get up at 8. I got 3.5 hours of sleep last night. I can barely keep my eyes open! I managed to fall asleep for 15 minutes, and when I woke up, my best friend had a large french mustache drawn across her face in eyeliner. Turns out, they were playing truth or dare. At my other friends birthday party, Katie wanted to be the "Ultimate Dare-devil". Here's a list of some of the many things that she did that continued tonight:
-Ate cat food
-Drank toilet water and toothpaste
-Drew a mustache on her face
-Spent 15 minutes in the bathroom (We all think that it's haunted...)
and much more.

Why did she do all of these things? I don't know. Also, 5 of us crammed into one of these houses:

I'm 5'2", and, there were 5 others ranging from 4'7" to 5'6". We stayed in there for about a half hour at 1 am. Do you know how crowded it was? Very

And, I'm probably very off topic here, because I fell asleep. But, someone just commentedwith a link to a video. Its people all over the world singing Imagine. Like, one guy in India is playing drums while a girl in Argentina is singing and a man in California is playing guitar. The adress is here. I remember during the olypmpics a while ago, they had something like this, but they did it with my all time FAVORITE song! ♪♫♪♫

Ahh, Friends!

Two kids tubing at the place where me and Nastia went tubing.

Yes! Friends, they are the BEST! I have 5 really close friends. The last one listed may really surprise you. They are in chronological order of when I met them and how old they are. Tori, met in preschool, then got "reunited" on fourth grade, she is 13. 2007. Katie, did theatre together sience 3rd grade, and I moved to her school in 4th, but got to be really close freinds in 5th.12. 2008. Channing, met in 4th, were istantaniously BFFs,12. 2007. Alex, met in November of 4th (2007) and really became friends in 2009. 13 (end of 4th). And Nastia, 18. Met January 23, 2011, and are having a sleepover sometime this week. ;) Did it surprize you? Yes. Admit it! She is definently one of the funniest! We were in line to get up the hill when we were sledding the other day, and the guy behind us was screaming, "CUTTERS! THE KID IN THE YELLOW HAT IS A CUTTER!!!!!!!!!!" And we were right behind him. Nast turned aroud and screamed, as loud as she could, "KILL ME NOW!" We both fell over laughing after that. Nastia and I should both win the "Loudest screamers" prize. As we were spiralling down the hill, Godzilla may as well have been chasing us! We are freinds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am sooooo happy about that!

But to one person, you may be the world.

Peace, Anyone?

Us Girl Scouts making peace signs at Ben and Jerrys.

Yep! Peace! Thats whats on my mind right now. In about an hour, I'll be going sledding with Nastia and Keri. I'll post about it later. Sky, please listen...PLEASE NO MORE SNOW! The snow is finally starting to melt (thank God!) and it is currently a VERY beautiful temperature of 31 degrees farenheit! (Not very warm, but after a brutal winter, I love it!). You, person who stole the money and sock animal, PTHHHHHHHHT! (That was supposed to be a fart noise). I have made $166!  And I WILL get to the orphanage! I came up with a way to talk to the kids there. I can use my moms laptop to go onto google translator, translate what I want to say into Russian, and then hit talk. A demo of this is found here: http://translate.google.com/?hl=en&tab=wT#en|ru|Hi!%20I'm%20Bridget!. Yep! There it is. Then they can type what they want to say to me and hit the say in English button!

Wow! About 3 days ago, I saw a movie about Anya. It was great! It was a series of films, only 10 minutes of it were about Anya, but those 10 minutes were GREAT! My second favorite film was entitled: "Dog Show". About a young woman, about 25, whose apartment sharers complain about the dogs pee and its continuing barking. When the girl goes out to get a treat for the dogs birthday, her dad comes in, takes the dog for a walk and then brings him to the vet to have him put to sleep. Ahhh, 3 nights ago was fun. It is soooooo much nicer out today and this week in general, its 31 degrees! :)! And its supposed to be nicer next week, and lucky me! Its school break! Wheeeeee! Okay, gotta go! And the green, I don't know, felt the impulse!

Imagine all the people

Okay. So, oops! there I go with "so" again. Well, I want to start this off with a few very random things, They are in catagories.

Dreams: The falling dream has gone on for several nights now: Viewing, slipping and eventually, crashing. Could this be an Omen? Oh, yeah and I've seen myself die twice now.
Sometimes there is variations. Like instead of NYC, it was Giza. I was on the Great Pyramid of Giza, tumbling down towards the sand. I have this weird thing about eating sand and, let me tell you, I woke up going "Blech! Blaaa! Gugh!". Just imagine alot of it on your mouth. The texture. The Dryness. The dirtyness going down your throat. Eew.

School: Some one really hates either me or the orphans. So much as to the point where they are trying to prevent me from going. I have no idea who it is. But three days ago, I left my sock animals in the art room for about an hour and a half. I got the bag back, but a turtle sock animal and $15 was missing.I thought "Great, somebody was greedy" But then "What were they doing snooping through my bag?" and then "Where's the turtle?". Can you guess where the turtle was when I found him? I'll do multiple choice:

a. Returned safely to me
b. Cut in half in a trash can outside of the music room
c. On the floor
d. I still havent found it

I'll give you a hint: Its b. And thats why all sales at school have come to a dead halt. If you are the one who did this (if you have enough respect to a. read my blog or b. come clean about it) tell me! I probably will still hate your guts out but just tell me. Hey, whoever did this: "Imagine all the people, living for today" The kids over there, they are living for today. Especially the ones who are'nt in the orphange.

Home: There are things that I want to post about my male being who is younger than me living in the same house as me...you can email me if you have any questions...I don't like him, we'll leave it at that...

The Ongoing dream

You stand at the top of the empire state building. You see all of New York City beneath you. Suddenly, The fence falls and you begin to teeter back and forth. You feel yourself going farther forward with every rock. You grab onto a 25 cent binocular thingy. You are now hanging onto it for dear life. You are praying an praying to the good God in heaven that you won't fall. Clearly he's busy right now, and you are still swinging. It starts to rain and your grip loosens. You are now screaming, but no one can hear you. You kick your legs wildly, but that makes you dangle by 3 fingers. You pray some more, and finally lose all grip. You are plunging head first in to bustling NYC below you. You get 1 centimeter above a yellow taxi, and you wake up screaming.
This is how I feel at least twice a month. It has caused me to have a HUGE fear of heights. Like at girl scouts, we went to this place called monkey trunks, a ropes course that you have to climb across, and get down by way of zip-line. Heres a picture:
The most terrefying place on earth, Monkey Trunks.
Thats it, 30 feet and 50 challenges of pure horror. As a girl afraid of anything that moves on its own, that is more than 30" above ground, this is the true torture method. I ended up on the mini monkey course, with my best friends 5 year old brother. How embarrassing. This is mini monkey:

I put emphasis on MINI. Its no more than 6 feet up. Ugh, the girls will never get past that one. I am also apprehensive about any roller coaster, ferris wheel, moon jump, or anything that goes above 20 feet. And airplanes, when you can see the ground, that flight from here to DC, cloudless day, travelers delight, Bridgets terror. I absolutly HATE seeing the ground when I am high up.
Yeah, I'm terrifefied of heights.

Whoa! I just got an email of a slide show of every thing that I have metioned in the past few days. Not emailed, or blogged, or written. Every thing that I've mentioned. Including a skateboarding monkey, not having a facebook, blogging, monkey trunks (don't know where that came from, considering that I had not published this at time of recieving.) And Keri, there were pictures of you and Anya and Nastia in there. Anybody have an explination??????? I'm now scared.

Nothing in life is to be feared.  It is only to be understood.  ~Marie Curie

If you are nobody, you are free to belive in anything...

I cant belive you guys! You guys TOTALLY get it! 100%! In one day I went from 3 followers to 9! If you REALLY  want to get into my mindset, read the book Milkweed by Jerry Spinelli. He's my FAVORITE author and and amazing one! The book is about an orphan who is about 8 years old, growing up in Warsaw, Poland in the Holocaust. He is not in an orphanage, and he did'nt get a name until he was 8. Until he got a name (which was given to him by a twlve year old, disowned jew), he called Himself "Stoptheif". He and the other gypsy/jews (sorry if I'm being offensive to any of you by saying Jew too many times. Don't take offense, I'm part Jewish too!) head off to the ghetto. There, many died. One, Olek, was Hanged on a lamp post when he was caught stealing with a sign araound his neck saying "Don't be like him". In the Ghetto, he meets a little girl named Janina.
When they (the Nazis) take all of the jews to a concentration camp, Misha(his "name") follows the railroad tracks to go find Janina. A kind farmer takes him off the tracks and send him on a boat over here (the USA) where he tells his stories on street corners and meets the girl that he marries. He has severe PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) and his wife abandons him because he was too much work.
I wont give away the ending but I was crying. I didn't even cry when my wn grandfather and grandmother died. That causes problems with me though, I have so much emotion stored up inside me that some days, I'll be the happiest persaon alive, and the next, its like my dad died.

Thats the cover, but there are other covers, so be on the lookout♪♫‼‼‼

Sience today is the Super bowl, I made "foot ball" cookies for my dad, my brother and my dads friend.
Do these look like foot balls to you?

Didn't think so. But, they're yummy. The only one that looks even remotely like a fooball is the one on the middle right top. (And Kaia, american football :) ♪♫♪) They taste good and thats all that matters. Oh, and just for the record, GO PACKERS! Not that I'm watching the game right now. Or ever. Sorry Odie. If your a football fan.
Another really good book series is The lightning theif. By Rick Riordan. They are about a boy named percy who finds out that he's a demigod. Percy ends up at camp half-blood, a camp for demigod kids. Percy does not yet know who his father is but there are kids there who are sons/daughters of Athena, Ares, Demeter, Aphrodite, Dionysus ect. I don't know what happens yet, but I'll post! Thats the cover, and its the only one.
     More "My family shenanigans"
Mom: None today
Dad: "If you don't watch the super bowl, you dont get dinner!" Yeah, 12 year old GIRLS definently like football.
Brad: "These cookies look nothing like foot balls! And they don't taste like them!" okay, no, they don't look like them, but, who makes cookies that taste like leather?!?!?!?
Me: "Come on felex! Do you want to live in dirty water? You neet to get in the net! It can't kill you! Well, acctualy, it can, but, I won't let it."

"I think of all the voices that have told me who I have been, the neames I've had. Call me theif. Call me stupid. Call me gypsy. Call me Jew. Call me one-eared Jack. I don't care. empty-handed victims once told me who I was. Then Uri told me. Then an armband. Then an immigration officer. And now this little girl in my lap, this little girl whose call silences the trampling Jackboots. Her voice will be the last. I was. Now I am. I am . . . Poppynoodle."

"When you're nothing, you're free to believe in anything..."
-Uri
Milkweed

I like that one. When you are nothing, you are free to belive in anything. Free to belive in anything. Free to belive. Free to belive in any dreams that dance in my little heart. Free to belive that I can change the world. I will. I will. Yes. I will fofil my promise to you. One sock at a time. Free to belive in anything.

For you!♪♫♪

So, you're feeilng sad. You need a hug. You want a big warm squeeze. But, theres no one there to give it to you. Who should you go to?
Me. You go to me. I should wear a big sign around my neck saying "Free hugs! Take one! Take two! Take as many as you need!" I don't know if I can reach you. You don't know if I can reach you. That dosn't matter.
Here's some things to brighten your day if I can't reach you.
Here's the chronicles entitles: My family Shenanigans

For each member of my family, theres one.
Brad: "I'm the grumpy old troll! Living under the bridge!" how many episodes of Dora has he watched today?
Me: "Well, if I paint my desk red, Felex will have something to look at!" my mom said, no, but we can paint it with REAL paint when we paint your room green. I guess I shouldent use the red paint from my south america project to redo my desk.
Dad: "Why are you on American idol any way?!?! I can sing better than that! see: (completly out of tune) ♪♫♪♫ MOMMA! JUST KILLED A MAN! PUT A GUN TO HIS HEAD!" Yes Dad, you should go and be on american idol♪
Mom: "Go Secreteriat! You can do it!" And she's the one who makes fun of my Dad when he's watching the super bowl "GO PATS!☻" SHE SAYS "Don't talk to the tv, it doesn't hear you..."
off to Girl scouts!

Mama just killed a man
Put a gun against his head
Pulled my trigger, now he's dead
Mama, life has just begun
But now I've gone and thrown it all away
Mama, ooh
Didn't mean to make you cry
If I'm not back again this time tomorrow
Carry on, carry on as if nothing really matters

Geez!

Sacred rule of thumb:
Save the snow days for when is ACCTUALY SNOWING!
Yes, we are expecting 12-15 inches. But not until tomorrow. Why did they cancell school taday then? Anybody want to answer that? Maybe, Kerry, you can...
Wait, Correction, its now snowing. Barely. Here's a video. (ontop)
ITS NOT SNOWING!
So I was reading a Beatles book when I GOT UP ON TIME, GOT READY, AND THEN CHECKED THE SALEM PUBLIC WEBSITE! Its only 8:25 and I'm up, teeth brushed, dog fed, Hair brushed, dressed, bed made and breakfast ate. ugh. Well, enough of me complaining. ONe more thing though...THEY'RE THINKING ABOUT CANCELLING APRIL VACATION! Thats just not fair...I'm probably speaking for all kids @ salem public. Okay, I'll stop whning now.
The upside is I'll probably go sledding! Quelle bon idei! And Felex, he's still happy. I named the octopus. Eliot. I don't know why. He just looked like he NEEDED a name. Heres eliot:
So there you have it. No school. Full day ahead. Ugh. And I'll post if it gets "better" (weather-wise, worse, snowday conditions, Better)

All men who have achieved great things have been great dreamers.
Orison Swett Marden

Oh, and Eliot is a Octopus that one of the orphans made. He is posibly the CUTEST thing ever. I don't know who made him but they are really creative!
